The Challenge
When Wellington’s stadium was rebranded to Hnry Stadium, the new signage had to be engineered, manufactured, and installed in time for a major event. The deadline was fixed and non-negotiable. On top of the time pressure, the exposed stadium environment presented a real corrosion risk that required a creative solution to get right.
The EAP Solution
We worked closely with the contractor from the start to develop innovative connection details that would stand up to the elements long-term. With manufacturing happening in Christchurch and installation in Wellington, we attended the factory during fabrication to check the work before it left the South Island, then provided construction monitoring on site in Wellington during installation. The signs were up, signed off, and working in time for the event, delivered on time and on budget.
